Rebooting and unplugging my displays before installing the update doesn't seem to change anything, after the install re-inits it comes back up with that error after 5 or so minutes about uninstalling "Hybrid laptops with discrete GPU connected to a display".
I was looking forward to this update, though this doesn't seem to get in the way at the moment of getting work done.

I'm in the same situation with a Alienware 17R4 1070 Nvidia GPU. stuck at 49% with that message about uninstalling the hybrid laptops... app.
Have any of you tried rebooting yet?

Well canceling the update and restarting it from an ISO (downloaded from MSDN) doesn't get past this error either.
Still displays Hybrid laptops with descrete GPU connected to display .... Manually uninstall ( My AW17r4 isn't connected to a display)
Granted that's a description of what my laptop is, not really an app...
