17R?, GPU overclock

My Alienware 17 R5 has a GTX 1080 and I’ve successfully overclocked it using MSI Afterburner. There are other tools such as EVGA Precision XOC and Nvidia Inspector. If you want to do GPU undervolting you’ll have to use MSI Afterburner. Be sure to read the Dell overclocking policies before doing this because you might be voiding the warranty.

Afterburner wont let me use the power and voltage slider but let me use the memory and core boost

Not really a problem.... But check your fans are working or not... Use SpeedFan to increase or decrease the fan speed @Mr. Mamm  (set it to the max)
