m15 R7, second external monitor dropping signal
I'm running two monitors off of my m15 R7 AMD laptop. One monitor is running off the HDMI output and the other is running from the USB-C Thunderbolt output with an adapter to the monitor's DisplayPort input.
Everything works fine during most use, however, when I visit certain video streaming sites -- Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. -- the monitor running off the Thunderbolt port shuts off. Even news sites like CNN can cause this when running video. YouTube does not cause this problem, though.
This is a recent problem. I've been running two monitors like this for weeks without any issue, but yesterday the second monitor stopped receiving signal. As far as I know, I did not change any settings or receive any updates. I understand that on this laptop, the HDMI output comes from the discrete video card while the USB-C uses the onboard video from the CPU.
Any assistance with this problem would be appreciated.
My model has the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, 32GB DDR5 RAM, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB, and is running Windows 11 Home. My monitors are both Acer Nitro ED240Q S.
