m17, M2 Full Thermo Shield

Question

I just recently purchased Alienware m17 and would like to install a second M2 2280 PCIe SSD. Since I went with 1 SSD option, the thermo shield installed was a half shield, which only cover one slot (I already upgraded the RAM and was able to confirm that). I followed the Service Manual (https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/us/en/19/alienware-m17-laptop/alienware-m17-service-manual/procedure-to-replace-m2-2280-card?guid=guid-94257444-35f1-4442-a4c8-554d04e13d54⟨=en-us) and tried to call Dell Support and was initially told that such part doesn't exist, and later was told that said part wasn't available. Is there any way for me to purchase the full M2 SSD thermo shield?

Did you ever get a response on this?  Or find a solution. I bought a M15 off Amazon, and have the same issue of not having a thermo shield when I install a second NVMe drive.

I’m still waiting on one. It was really bizarre that getting a part is this difficult.

For future references, the part you need to order is R46DX, with this description:   PAD, THRM PAD, SSD, BIG , AWM15/17   This is the larger M.2 SSD thermo shield for Alienware m17.
