x17 R1, keyboard stopped working after today's W10 update
x17 R1, classic membrane keyboard. Today's W10 update bricked the keyboard entirely. No backlight ,keyboard's not working, also the back led stripe is not working. AWCC does not even show the keyboard in the FX editor. Help!

I solved the issue, so just for the sake of this thread being of use to somebody else:
I reset the laptop using the "hold power button for 20 seconds" method. This was the procedure:
1) power off laptop
2) unplug charger cable
3) hold power button for 20-30 seconds, then release
4) push power button normally
All led lights and keyboard were brought back to life.

If you have an external keyboard handy, try doing a System Restore to a point before the issue started. This is the easiest thing to try first. If this doesn't work and you are still covered under your warranty then you need to contact Dell Support.
