I do not believe this would be possible, as RP replicas are restored at the CG level. You can certainly recover CRR copies back to the source, but the granular level may not be possible, due to the way the underlying storage must be recovered.
You would most likely need to mount the copy, moving the vmdk file(s) over manually. Not ideal, but will save the entire DS from being restored.
