AVAMAR and Microsoft SQL Server 2012
Hello all,
Inside the document EMC AVAMAR 6.1 for SQL Server User Guide 300-013-357 REV 06, there's the information that "On Windows Server 2012, the SQL Server Plug-in is supported only on a stand-alone server. Windows Server 2012 cluster support will be provided in a future release."
I'm working in a project where the customer will use the Microsoft Windows Server 2012 configured as a Cluster, with Microsoft SQL Server. Can you tell me if today, September, the information about Microsoft SQL 2012 on Windows configured as a cluster is still true ?
Best Regards,

Hello,
Document EMC Avamar 6.1 for SQL Server Guide 300-013-357 is still correct. The latest Avamar release 6.1 SP2 does not add the support. I do not have any details as to when it will be supported.

According to Avamar 7.0 for SQL Server User Guide, you can configure SQL Server as Windows Server 2012 Cluster.
