Avamar Jumbo Frames
Hi,
We have a multinode grid running 7.1 and trying to get info on if this will support jumbo frames (1500 and/or 9000 MTU)?
Backing up a mix of vmware images, SQL clients and Oracle clients.

Hi Jazz_Kudhail,
Is your network running Jumbo fames? Or frame sizes bigger than 1500? I actually never read about setting Jumbo fames on Avamar. So I don’t know if it’s actually supported by EMC. However it is supported by the underlying Linux kernel. So in that perspective it is supported.

Hi,
Running vmware 5.5 in a vblock converged environment which now has jumbo frames enabled. I cant seem to find any EMC support info for enabling Jumbo Frames in Avamar so im guessing its not supported by grid.
