Avamar installation on hp hardware ?
Hi Everyone,
I'm using avamar 6 on r710 hardware. But i want to install avamar on hp dl 380 g5 for testing purpose for different project. When i look at the a documentation , it says that avamar supports hp dl 380 g5 hardware. are there any special kickstart iso for hp like dell 710 ?
I couldnt find any more information about avamar (software only) kickstart on hp dl380 g5.
What is the latest avamar version can be installed on hp dl380 g5 hardware ?
What hardware requirements does it required for installing on dl 380 g5?
What is the ftp address of avarmar version suitable for hp hardware information ?
Thanks for your all answers.

EMC is no longer qualifying or selling software-only Avamar installations.

Existing installations can be upgraded to recent code if the hardware meets the requirements but no new installs are being qualified.

So ,
when i look at the EMC Avamar qualified hardware platforms, it says yu can install on dl 380 g5 for minimum avamar 4.0.x.
Who can tell me how can install this ? Are there any installation cd like dll r710 ? Or are there any generic cd ?
After this document i'm sure for dl380 g5 is supoorted for avamar 4 and 5. but how
I hava only kickstart cd for suse and avamar 6. But multiboot menu is suitable for just dell hadware.

The Rev A19 version of the Compatibility and Interoperability Matrix you linked to is almost a year old now (August 2011). The current version is Rev A27 (June 2012) and you can find it on PowerLink at http://powerlink.emc.com/km/live1//en_US/Offering_Technical/Interoperability_Matrix/300-008-867.pdf (PowerLink login is required).
As you can see, the section on third party hardware compatibility has been removed. New installs on third party hardware are no longer available.
