Backing up Solaris 10 x86 version

Hello all,

I need to backup a Solaris 10 x86 system. The solaris 10 client I've downloaded from our Avamar system states it's for SPARC when I try to install it. Will it work on x86 or is there a client for x86 Solaris available?

I haven't try to install it on S10 x86, but that kind of support was one of highlights of 4.0 version so I would assume that x86 version must exist.

It is still 3.7 indeed. Doesn't matter now as there has been a change of plan and we're gonna use a different linux flavour for this particular server now.

since you downloaded it from your server, I'd be curious what version that server is at. If you're still at 3.7, you can't back up any Solaris x86 stuff, just like the other poster said.
