I haven't try to install it on S10 x86, but that kind of support was one of highlights of 4.0 version so I would assume that x86 version must exist.

It is still 3.7 indeed. Doesn't matter now as there has been a change of plan and we're gonna use a different linux flavour for this particular server now.

since you downloaded it from your server, I'd be curious what version that server is at. If you're still at 3.7, you can't back up any Solaris x86 stuff, just like the other poster said.
