Diagnosing blue screen crashes

Question

My machine suffered 2 blue screen crashes in a period of about 3 hours today.  My first thought was a possible virus/malware problem, so I ran full scans with Vipre and MalwareBytes.  Both came up clean.  Can anyone suggest how I might investigate what happened?  What logs, etc. to check?  (I did not see an error code.)

Thanks for the link.  I was struggling with getting access to the MEMORY.dmp file, despite being the authorized administrator for this machine.  What a cool, useful program!
