Bi-Directional Replication - Name Resolution Requirements?

We are about to move our replication target out of state to a new DR center.   The IP address and the Hostnames will be changed before we move.  The new Target grid location is on a different subnet than the Source grid.

From the new replication Target site, I can resolve the name of my Source grid by FQDN only.

Is this good enough for replication or does it have resolve short name and IP address too?

Hi Brain

The replication IP (if a dedicated interface) should communicate (ping) with the target and that is the primary requirement. If required, add static routes to make it happen.

Configure the replication via IP and that should make it work, if DNS is not available.
