Question

What is the default password to SSH into the Avamar server? I've looked all over and can't find it anywhere.

What about admin and dpn?

Once you are in as root, you can always reset the passwords for dpn and admin. Not sure of the default passwords.

Correct, for dpn and admin you use su as root. By using change-passwords you can change passwords of those users. I didn't check, but it might be that these two users are not even allowed to login directly. Nevertheless, one of recommendations after installing avamar is to change of all password which means you should run this command in production environment anyway.

By default the passwords for the root, admin and dpn accounts are the same.On a further note, these passwords should only be changed using the change-passwords script.
