No, at least in current version, Avamar only uses one network, I was reading that in version 6 it is gonna be possible to use the other NICs to utilize different networks... But source deduplication doenst affect that much the network...I have clients that use vpn for backups and it is ok
Did you client already monitor de traffic in their lan when performing backups??
So we'd have to create a static route at the OS level to control the traffic?
We've not yet done any sort of throughput monitoring/capture as this is a question a customer asked us. We said exactly that, that the amount of traffic is mininmal given then deduplication but I wanted to explore the options nonetheless.
