How to create new user roles

Question

Is anyone aware of how to create new user roles? We would like our restore operators to be able to restore files to alternate locations other than the original location. This is possible if we make them a Administrator however that creates a whole new set of challenges.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have to research further, but it is possible. There was at least an XML file that could be modified to allow an existing role to have that ability. I will post back if I can find the documentation.

Have you tried that through web restore?Just make a user at client level and then do restore using webrestore!!!!
