How to stop Avamar running backup Jobs

Your question isn't clear whether you're talking about a particular running Avamar job or the execution of all future Avamar jobs.  I assume you know how to launch the Avamar GUI and connect to the correct Avamar Grid you wish to manage.

Stopping a particular Avamar job

From the Avamar GUI, click the Activity button.  This brings up a list of all the jobs from the last 72hours.  Find the job you wish to cancel and right-click on it.  You can also Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click to select multiple jobs.  Select Cancel Activity from the menu to cancel each selected job. 

Stopping all future Avamar jobs

From the Avamar GUI, find the System Information area on the front page.  Click the Suspend button to stop the backup scheduler.  Any scheduled backups or replications will not start until you click the Resume button.  You will still need to cancel any running jobs with the previous procedure.
