New Avamar Install - Is it possible to....
Hi Guys,
I've a new avamar install here but I want to do some backups via Networker and some using the avamar backup tool. Is it possible to perform both types of backups, utilising de-dup data between both types of bkup.
(I mean if I backed up 1 client using both networker and avamar tool. I am wondering if avamar will only store the data once?)

Let me see if I undesrtood what you want to do.
You want to backup a client with networker (with dedup option) To do this you have to integrate avamar with networker, and when configuring your client in networker you select that this client will use dedup node.
you can also manage the avamar with its gui, and have some other clients performing backups to avamar.
If I understood correctly your question, yes it is possible. in the way I explain before
