Removing hostnames/IPs from the Avamar Administrator login screen used to be feature. It may have been omitted when the GUI received an overhaul some time back.
The Avamar hostnames/IPs are stored in the following registry entry
The login_server_name_x object is used to populate the list of Avamar servers
Since the GUI feature has been removed there's no "supported" method of deleting the hostname/IP although I did test the following with no ill effects.
I deleted the key
I heroically ignored the following warning
On relaunching the Avamar Administrator, the entry had been removed from the list of servers
I'm not recommending you make changes to your Windows registry, merely reporting what I observed.. hope you find it interesting.
Thanks. This was the fix I was looking for. Fixed the problem. Definitely great to know when typos are sometimes common and people get confused on what the correct spelling is.
I had 2 shortcuts, 1 for 7.3.0-226 & 1 for 7.3.0-233 and it fixed them both.

Nicholas,
Thanks. This was the fix I was looking for. Fixed the problem. Definitely great to know when typos are sometimes common and people get confused on what the correct spelling is.
Thanks again.

Hi Reggie - glad that helped. I've also made a request to Engineering that the original feature be re-added to the GUI.
All the best,
Nick
