VMware Image "Quiesce guest file system" option
Is there an option in Avamar to quiesce the guest file system when doing image level backups?
When I take a snapshot in vCenter there are two checkboxes, default is:
Snapshot the virtual machine's memory
[ ] Quiesce guset file system (Needs VMware Tools installed)
I need the first box unchecked and the second box checked. (Opposite of default). Per testing, these options work with manual backups on a certain machine with a large iSCSI lun attached. Default options cause the lun to unattach.

Hello,
In avamar 6 SP1 and lower versions, the guest file system is not quiesced during the image level backups.
Please open a Service Request to get a hotfix to quiesce the filesystem for image level backups.
