mccli firewall ports

Hi,

Does anyone know what firewall ports need to be open between a server running MCCLI and an Avamar Utility node?

Avamar version: 7.4.1-58

There isn't much in the security guide / MCCLI guide around this.

I thought it was just port 7778, but after some testing it appears 7779 and 7781 also need to be opened. Are there any more ports?

Hi,

When you say MCCLI, i hope you are trying to ssh/putty Avamar utility node, Is that correct?

Port 22 is by default port for this.

Please let us know if you are looking for something else.

Hi,

I've installed the MCCLI on a standalone linux server. I ssh onto the linux server and then use MCCLI to call commands on the Avamar device.

I'm trying to find out the ports between the linux server and Avamar appliance.
