Playback to my Bluetooth headset is broken after some idle time.

It's a Dell Precision 5570 Laptop, clean Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2 (not Dell factory image), all drivers from Dell. Problem persists with Intel BT drivers 24.20 (from Dell) through current Intel BT driver 24.70.

After every resume from Modern Standby (S0ix), classic A2DP playback over the integrated Intel Bluetooth radio is corrupted: the headset outputs only low-level white noise instead of music. Windows reports the entire stack as healthy — no error, no event log entry. Toggling the Bluetooth radio off/on always restores audio until the next resume.

I was able to isolate the fault to the Intel Bluetooth audio offload path. Disabling Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio (service IntcBTAu) forces Windows to fall back to the inbox BthA2dp driver, and the problem disappears while the same radio, the same link and the same codec continue to be used.

Dear Dell engineers, you may find the full bug report over at Intel, [Bug Report] A2DP stream corrupted (white noise) after Modern Standby resume

I hope you will make the Intel engineers fix that problem for your customers. Please note, that I did a clean Microsoft Windows image install with Intel BT 27.20 driver, and the problem persists through current version 24.70.
