EMC Assesement for Storage Performance
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what tools are used in this service provided by EMC. I'm not looking for the symmetrix assesment, just the Clariion assesment. Do they use Navi Analyzer or do they have other tools that they use, if so any idea what they are?

I'm guessing NaviAnalyzer, as there really isn't another way to get that level of detail.
If you don't have NaviAnalyzer licensed, they can still use it. It is installed and available on all current arrays. The way they do this is to allow you to export an encrypted NaviAnalyzer dump that they can decrypt for use. This allows access to the performance data without allowing the customer to use it without paying licensing.
