Failover mode for DM-MPIO on Linux

My Unix admins are building a new Red Hat 4 U4 box and they want to play with native multipath failover based on DM-MPIO and see how it handles failover .etc. They will be using native LVM2 for volume management. Since this box will not be running a navi agent i need to register it manually ..any idea what i should use for "failover mode" ?

thanks

One place it can be found is in the document "Installation Roadmap for CX3-Series, CX-Series, AX-Series, and FC-Series Storage Systems".
It's available on Powerlink in several places, including;
Home > Support > Documentation/White Paper Library > Hardware/Platforms > CLARiiON CX3 UltraScale Series Systems > CLARiiON CX3-80 > Installation/Configuration

See the segment "Native multipath failover for Linux" which starts on page 4-54 of the document - 'failover mode' is mentioned in various places within chapter 4.

Regards,
DGM
