Using storagepool -list -all resolves the issue i faced. For FAST tiering on pools, it gives the o/p in Disks (types): witht he type of disk used for the pool.
Checking the disks from the list either in disks: or disks (type): works.

i am not sure what you are after but this is what i get when i run storagepool -list on VNX5700, flare 31
