Hi Dhakshinamoorthy,

We definetely have the tools to get the collects analyzed, but its only the support job to do. SP Collects cannot be anlyzed on Forum. For SP Collects to be reveiwed please open a Service request with the support and they are the only people who will fetch you the required info about the reboots and the array shoutdown info.

Thanks

Hi Dhakshinamoorthy,

To analyze SP Collects you can open a Service Request either from Powerlink by selecting Live Chat option ( Process to open a live chat given below) or you may contact EMC CST…, Please find CST contact details below:

Hi Dhakshinamoorthy,

You can check the same from SP collects , However you need to use TRiiAGE tool to open the SP collects and if I am not wrong TRiiAGE tool is not available for customers.

Rupal: Is TRiiAGE tool available for customers ?

Dhakshinamoorthy : would like to inform you that the logs and the reports are meant to be sent to support to get it analysed in the correct way.

Thanks

When using Navisphere Manager (and NaviExpress), you select each SP, right click and select "View Events". All power down/up events are logged in the Event log and you can save the logs (Save) and then review the logs for reboot events.

Using "grep -i "reboot" eventlog.txt"   - that should limit the viewing of the document. Or "grep -i -c "reboot" eventlog.txt" if you just want a count.

If he is looking for just the total number of reboots, Wouldn't that be time consuming?

Sorry - is the array running NaviExpress or Navisphere? If Express I forgot that you can not save the Event log to a file, that's only available when using Navisphere. WIth Navisphere you can save the event log to a text file, then run grep in the folder where you saved the file to.

With Express it will be a bit more difficult, you will need to save the Diagnostic files (spcollects) then open the zip and file the enclosed zip that ends with ...sus.zip - in that zip is the raw splog flie called SPx_navi_getlog.txt - this file have all the events and you get run grep on that file for "reboot"
