MirrorView /A using NaviCLI

Question

Hi we are using MirrorView /A to migrate data between two sites for a data centre project move. I will need to promote about 100 secondary images in one day so will be using NaviCLI for this as it is faster. My question, is will the image UID always be the same for every secondary image on the Clariion? I have dumped a list of mirrors using: naviseccli -address x.x.x.x -secfilepath 'filepath' mirror -async -list And the command for the promote would be: naviseccli -address x.x.x.x -secfilepath 'filepath' mirror -async -promoteimage -name TEST -imageuid 50:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx From what i can see from the list of mirrors the imageuid is always the same for every secondary image and it is only the image name that is different. Is this the correct UID that i should be using? Why is it called a UID if it isn't unique for every image?

the 'imageUID' is the same for all secondary images on 'that' array, the difference is the mirror name, that changes for each mirror. The 'unique' part of the image name is that the imageUID is the WWN of the array, then each mirror has a unique name.regards,glen
