NAVISPHERE slow after FLARE 24 upgrade
Recently, we had FLARE upgraded from version 19 to 24 on CX 500. After that we noticed that almost any action like LUN creation, displaying properties of our array takes much longer time.
Initially we thought it was JAVA version issue but upgrading JAVA did not help.
SAN itself operates normally, no performance issues it is just annoying for administrators as you just wait and wait.
Did anyone have the same issue?
Thanks.

What patch of FLARE 24 did you install and are you using any layered applications like MV, SnapView or SANCopy? Are you running Navisphere Manager on the array and what version of Java have you upgraded to?
Also maybe this EMC knowledgebase article will help you: Slow Navisphere Management performance, emc176825.
I hope this helps

I think the knowledgebase article that Carl listed is the best explanation I have heard so far.
