SAN Copy Target LUN not showing filesystem in LVM - Linux
Platform: Linux RHEL4, CX3-40, FLARE 26
I am using SAN Copy to copy 3 LUNs from one array to another. I am unable to mount the target LUNs on the host. The error is: mount: Can't read superblock. Also, viewing the LVM gui, the LUNs appear, but without a file system.
I think I may be missing a step in the copy process. Does anyone have any experience with this that can give me a high level process?
Thanks
Sarah

what was the status of SanCopy session when you tried to mount LUNs off the target array ? I would try this:
1) Let SanCopy finish it transfer.
2) Once SanCopy target LUNs are presented to your target Linux host, reboot it.
3) Try to vgimport/mount
now let's say you need to do an incremental sancopy refresh
1) unmount file system on target system
2) export volume group
3) perform sancopy transfer
4) try to vgimport/mount
