SAN Copy or Open Replicator

Question

We have found the need to make clones of an Oracle Database which resides on a DMX 3000 onto a clariion cx500. I have done a little research and now would like some real life input. It seems I have 3 choices: Open Replicator for Symm, SAN Copy, and using the hosts for the copy/mirror.

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with making copies of an Oracle DB from a DMX 3000 to a Clariion cx500?

open replicator will allow you to perform incremental sync where san copy will have to do a full sync every time you need to pull data from dmx to clariion
