Servers not registering automatically in Connectivity status???

Hi

We have 2 arrays at the same location, a CX3-80 and a CX3-10.
The 3-80 is running flare code: 03.26.080.5.025
The 3-10 is running flare code: 03.26.010.5.025

I am trying to connect a Windows 2008 SP2 x64 host to the CX3-80 array.
Zoning has been configured for the host to see 6 of the CX3-80 ports over 2 fabrics.

The problem is we are no longer able to "automatically" register hosts on the CX3-80 array.
I have tried the following:

Ensuring the C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\Navisphere Agent\agent.config file is correct.
Placing agentid.txt in C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\Navisphere Agent.
Changing the server NIC team to be NFT rather than automatic.
Ensured the IP v6 protocol is disabled.
Ensured the firewall on the Win2k8 server is off.

Finally I tried the same host on the CX3-10 array and it worked instantly!
This leads me to believe the problem is not on the host, but the CX3-80 array especially as this is not the first time we have had to manually register hosts.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should start looking?

Thanks

Found this EMC article: emc80516

Which basically says to add "device auto auto" to the agent.config file.

Sort of worked - I got 5 out of 6 connections registered automatically.

I deregistered the 5 connections, then restarted the NaviAgent service again.
This time I got 0 out of 6 connections registered automatically.

Go figure!

If the problem still persists, I will suggest following Steps to overcome the problem

1. use device auto auto as you mentioned earlier
2. remove all entries of your host(all 6 paths) from connectivity status
3. delete Zones pertaining to the Cx3-80 array and you Host(pertaining to 6 Paths)
4. apply to config
5. re-run the naviagent
6. create the required zones again and apply to config
7. run naviagent on host
8. Update array
9. chech connecitivity status
