This Raid configuation is good?

Hi there.

I'd like ask you if this configuration for my AX4 is a good config or not.

I will use the AX storage for a virtual infraestructure enviroment (Servers + Virtual Desktops)

My initial configuration is, AX4-5i DualSP + 4xVault Disk 450 GB SAS 15k + 5x450GB SAS 15k

This will be the configuration:

1RAIDGROUP raid(3+1) with vault drives + 1RAIDGROUP raid5(3+1) + 1HotSpare

Is it a good configuration?

Configuration raid5 (7+1)+1 hot spare. Is it good for best performance?

Is it recommended to use and mix vault drives with the other drives?

When I try to do this, it appears a warning message ...

any suggestion ?

Best regards.

No, you should keep your Vault drives in a separate raid group.
