Unable to access SP via Unisphere due to faulty DG ?

Hi,

The DG is faulty and is replaced by another one with different IP address.

We find that we are not able to access the SP Management IP via Unisphere Manager via browser.

Is there any way for us to change the DG for both SP so that we can access it again ?

Thanks

You could attach a PC directly to the SP management port and set the PC on the same subnet as the SP port. Sounds more like the switch is not passing thru to the SP ports.

Maybe lack of sleep has caught up with me, but I don't know what you are referring to by "DG" ?

I should have been used "Default Gateway" instead of DG.

Thanks

You'll need to access the SP setup pages at;

http://spaipaddress/setup.html

Scroll down and change the gateway.  Note that this will require an SP restart so plan accordingly.

When completed, do the same for SPB.

So you'll need to get onto the same subnet as the SP's to do it.

Unfortunately, we also cannot access http://spaipaddress/setup.html

Can we reset the Default Gateway via Command Line ?

Thanks

You can change the network settings from the cli, but if you can't get to the interface the process is redundant.

As Glenn has suggested, I would be trying a direct connection to the management port from a laptop. Assign the laptop an IP address from the original subnet that is still configured on the array.
