iSCSI connection to Server where HDLM installed.
I have a Question regarding Clariion CX3-10.
I have a CX3-10c. I need to connect a server to that Clariion CX3-10c through iSCSI. But the server is already connected to the a HITACHI san box through FC and they have Hitachi multipathing software (HDLM) installed on the server.
My question is that whether HDLM Software will detect the data paths from CX3-10c?
can I connect the server to the Clariion without installing Power Path.
the server has Windows 2003 Enterprise edition 32bit R2 with Service Pack 1.

actually my customer doesnt require both management software on the server. they have HDLM already installed. so they want to know whether it can see data paths from clariion.
as the server is already connected to Hitachi san and they dont want to touch that. and they want some space from Clariion also.
so i need to know if i can connect clariion without installing powerpath and HDLM should see the data paths,
what is the best for that.?
regards
Rohit

I have ran both on the same box without issues. Make sure you have the latest HDLM and the latest PowerPath ..they will both co-exist just fine.
