The file you have is an enabler. It is used to 'enabler' features of the FLARE code like Snapview, SANCopy, and MirrorView.
You use the Navisphere Service Taskbar for installing the enabler on the array. The latest version of NST can be found at https://support.emc.com/products/CLARiiONCX3 . Look under the Top Tools section on the right side of the page. The process will reboot the storage processors though so be sure your hosts are all HA and you do this during a maintenance window.
You need to be sure you have the correct enabler version for your array though. What array do you have and what is the FLARE code revision?
