Accessing the EMC Knowledgebase

You will often notice that people reference Knowledgebase articles in our Discussion forum.  They will say something like "Check Knowledgebase article emc216760 for more information."  But how do you find this knowledgebase article?  It's easy!  Log into Powerlink and browse to the following location:

      Home > Support > Search Support

or simply click the "Search Support" tab at the top of the page.  Type the article number into the textbox labeled "Search the Knowledgebase."  You can also narrow the focus of the search from "All Support Resources" to "Solutions" to display only the intended Knowledgebase article.

If you want to link directly to the solution, use the following URL:

     http://csgateway.emc.com/primus.asp?id=

Replace with the Knowledgebase article you wish to view.  You will still be required to log in with your Powerlink credentials, if you haven't already.

You can also use the "Search the Knowledgebase" tool to search the entire Knowledgebase using keyword searching.  The search covers the entire range of EMC online resources, including the Knowledgebase, as well as the Forums, and any Service Requests you have access to.
