EMCopy file size limit
Hi,
I tried to use emcopy 02.27 to copy files from 2 lun. It failed to copy all files larger than 4 GB. I copied them with success only with robocopy.
Have anybody idea about this limit on emcopy?

please, use a newer version of EMCOPY.
There was a "bug" on earlier versions which prevented large files to be copied.
The fix for this issue is on 02.29 and higher.
From the 3.01 readme:
02.29 : - Fixed issue when a file to copy is marked as offline. In that case the created file on the target was never closed.
- Fixed issue when the size of a file to copy is larger than 4Gb. In that case the file is copied but a wrong size mismatch error is detected. This causes emcopy to stop.
Anyway, 02.27 is a quite old version....

go to Powerlink in the Celerra Tools section
like Home > Support > Product and Diagnostic Tools > Celerra Tools > NS-120, NS-480
In the upper right quadrant there is the download link labeled
Celerra Network Server Applications and Tools CD
