MMC plugins - Celerra Applications and Tools CD

Hi,

unfortunately that CD isnt available for download.

It should be in the Celerra documentation box that came with the system.

If you cant find it contact your customer service engineer - he can provide you a copy or make an ISO image available.

I assume you understand that in order to use that MMC plugin you first need to extend your Active Directory schema with the EMC AD extension.
You also need to maintain these fields for UID/GID for every user in the AD then.

There are several other choices for user mapping available these days - I suggest you talk to your EMC NAS TC for guidance on whats best for your environment.

A good first introduction is the "Configuring Celerra User Mapping" manual available from Powerlink

Please take a look at Knowledgebase solution emc182849. It contains complete instructions on how to obtain the software you are looking for.

If you haven't already done so, you should download the Documentation CD, which is available for download on Powerlink. Within that documentation set is a manual called "Configuring Celerra Naming Services". It describes all of the available naming services, including Active Directory extension.
