Check a couple of things :

1. User version 02.01 and not old 01.11
2. Try to run lgdup(version 02.01 first(if you have local groups)
3. Make sure you have the underlying directory structure in place already..
4. /P:newrootpath , syntax should take the new path.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5. - Lastly, dump the current share configuration with /FO:Shares.out switch
- Edit, the file with wordpad, and replace the root path of each share
- Duplicate shares with /FI:Shares.in switch

Thanks

The Old utility worked fine for me between Windows and EMC.

How ever it works between Windows systems provided the destination folders are on C drive. Any idea why?

Unless you use /R switch, it is non-destructive.

Sharedup tool comes with Tools&App CD. Latest code pack should have latest version.

Thanks

If I keep the destination directory on C drive of the destination sevrer it works fine.

Where can I get download the latest sharedup file
Also is this command destructive? I am testing this between Windows systems before actually using it between Windows to EMC.
