disk d8 gets trespassed weekly.

Hi all,

We have a Celerra NAS NS-120 (DART 6.0.41). We have found something strange in this box, that is the disk d8 is getting trespassed every sunday at 6:30 AM .

This LUN is owned by SPB and is of capacity 651 GB. This LUN is a part of a meta and thus contributing towards a filesystem also. This is the only LUN to Celerra from SPB and is getting trespassed weekly and gets  back to its original owner (some other LUNs from SPB assigned hosts also getting trespassed but the reverse is not happening automatically).

We have noted the Battery test is happening at 1:00 AM every sunday. Also all the paths to from backend to celerra are showing logged in . What could be the possible reason for this ?

Thanks in advance for kind suggestions,...

I would suggest to open a service request so that support can take a look at your log files and maybe enable debug.

As far as the trespassing back – there is a regularly scheduled storage health check (see nas_cron) – I wouldn’t be astonished it that tries to repair.
