ns480 power requirements
we purchased 2 ns480 arrays and I am trying to find the power requirements document for them but am unsuccessful.
I have looked here Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > Celerra Network Server
and all I see is how to cable up the cabinet, with no mention of power requirements.
4 x-blades and 2 cabinets per array configuration.
Thanks.
Jim

i believe if rack is fully populated with DAEs you need 4 connections.

Jim,
take a look at power calculator, it will tell you exactly how many drops you will need based on your config.

Hi Jim,
You may refer to the "Specification Sheet" for NS480 on the EMC Website (www.emc.com) under Products -> Celerra Family -> Celerra Unified Storage Platforms -> Celerra NS-480.
Here is the link to the SS for NS-480 - please refer to the last page for AC Power -
http://www.emc.com/collateral/hardware/specification-sheet/h5807-celerra-ns-480-ss.pdf
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Sandip

It seems, "dynamox" had already provided you details on this - sorry for not checking the latest posts before posting mine
The Power Calculator is definitely helpful on calculating your total power requirement based on components.
Thanks,
Sandip
