Compellent SC220 Error - RAC0505

Question

Hello, I am currently having an issue trying to connect our SC220 to an H810 Controller mounted in our PowerEdge 730. The error states - RAC0505: There are no devices to be displayed.  1. Check if the host system is ON. 2. Check if the Storage Enclosure is ON. 3. Verify that the adapter cables are properly connected and there are no bent pins. I have done everything the error code sates. I have tried different SAS Port and SAS cable to link the controller and the expansion unit together but the error still persists. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hello ItsFudd, With an SC220 you need to connect it to a compellent system.  an SC220 will not work when connected to a perc.
