Compellent SC4020 Serial converter - RJ45

Hi Everyone, I have several SC4020's in remote sites that I would like connect the serial port to a RJ45 converter and connect the Compellent to an Opengear console server.  Has anyone ever done this?  Is there a 3mm to RJ45 converter out there that works?  I see quite a few out on in the market but dont know if they're the correct pinouts.

If you mean RJ45 like a Cisco rollover cable, you can just make an adapter for you existing cable with something like this and use a straight through ethernet cable for the connection. I did it a ton for serial dongles in the past with no issues, as long as you know the pinout it's a snap.

The Dell Part number is 5WD20. It is a DB9 to 3.5 mm cable, and one should have been supplied with each system you purchased. Or you can buy aftermarket cables:
