Data-in-Place upgrade for SC8000
Hello All,
I got an SC8000 array with SC200 shelves running 600GB SAS drives.
Is it possible to do a data-in-place upgrade of the SC8000 to SC9000 and where I can get the process steps. I know it will involve DellEMC service teams.

Hello mide1,
You can do a data in place upgrade of your SC8000 to an SC9000. You are correct in that you will need Dell support services to do the upgrade. When you purchase the upgrade, your sales rep should explain the process to you. They should send you what is needed to be done prior to the upgrade taking place.
