The SCv20x0 require 2 SAS cables cross connected. If you have nothing connected you have setup the system in a wrong way.

This is different compared to the newer SCv30x0,50x0 and 70x0.

Hello Nightwolf_82,

You should call in to support and have them check your system. The alerts you are seeing is because there is a disruption of the paths on the B side of your Enclosure. In an Scv2020 the 2 paths to each disk go through the top controller and the bottomg controller. Something caused the B side path to go down per the alert on 6/27 at 8:33 am. I would call in and have support check the system to determine why.

Unfortunately, the warranty expired a month ago so in the given situation it wouldn't be possible to rely on Dell support.

I'm just wondering if I can find out the root cause myself without involving support techs.

I have this for both I/O modules.

Just wondering if this is an indication of the whole SAN device malfunction.

Could you please advise which type of SAS cables I should look for that would be compatible with 10G-iSCSI-2 Type B controllers.

Thank you.
