supportSave will capture supportShow along with other logs and upload it to an ftp/tftp server.

Hi Consty,
To collect logs in Brocade switches you will have to login to the CLI and give the command:-
supportsave
this will ask for a ftp server location, this is where it will save the log file in zipped format. This will take some time depending upon the size of logs (15 minutes - 45 minutes).
The 'supportsave', command is a superset of supportshow, as the later is contained in the former. If you are not able to collect 'supportsave', for some reason then you may try 'supportshow'.

The SupportSave command is the recommended way to gather logs, but if there is no ftp server in place, or some other prevention of uploading the collects can also be gathered by using Putty, enabling logging, and running the SupportShow command, which will show just the SupportShow output without any of the engineering logs.
