American Express Membership Rewards Dell eCertificate Expired!
Last December (12/26/13) I used my American Express Reward Points and Redeemed a Dell $200 Gift Certificate. I have not had the need to spend it till now and it was until this week that after contacting AMEX I was told per Dell's policy this Gift Card was only good for 90 Days.
Upon More investigation I'm now looking to take against Dell with misleading AMEX gift card holders based on three points.
-The DELL Gift Card redemption page MAKES NO remark of a expiration time period upon redemption. *Refer to Attached email as proof.
-After redemption of Gift Card the confirmation email NEVER states a gift card expiration date, the ONLY mention is a "LINK" expiration. *Refer to Attached email as proof.
-Based on . Most gift certificates and gift cards sold by retail sellers for use with the seller and its affiliates cannot contain an expiration date or a service fee, including a fee for dormancy. Certain gift certificates or gift cards sold after January 1, 1998, are not subject to any of the rules discussed here. To be exempt, these gift certificates or gift cards must contain an expiration date, if any, in capital letters in at least 10-point type on the front of the card and must be either: I have attached Images of proof of Dell's Failure to meet this requirement.

Promotional/Electronic Gift cards have an expiry or "valid through" date. Click Here and read #6.
