Sales site cart, cannot remove item once deleted
I can't believe Dell has such broken and unreliable shopping cart. And non-existing customer support regarding this issue.
What happened:
When I was customizing my Alienware Aurora R13 Gaming Desktop and clicked "save" it bugged out and added 6 extra computers to my shopping cart, which is completely ridiculous glitch. When I removed all 6 items to start from scratch and refreshed page 2 broken items ($4600+) with no image appeared in my shopping cart with no ability to remove them.
It completely bugged my shopping cart out and now Checkout page is also broken and when I click on "Checkout"
it gives me an error "There was a problem loading this page. Sorry, we are currently unable to display your checkout. Please refresh the page to continue."
So, basically, I'm completely stuck with no ability to make any purchases.
Before contacting Dell I tried:
- Using different browsers like Chrome/Safari/Microsoft Edge.
- Using my mobile device instead of PC.
- Deleting all the cookies and refreshing browser settings.
- Adding more random items, deleting them back and forth (no matter how many items I have in my cart on the top right corner it always says I have only 2 items).
- Waited almost a week to see if it will disappear.
Literally nothing works and broken items remain in my cart.
When I contacted Customer support:
Spent 5+ hours jumping between different departments and literally no one could help with this issue. Sales department can't help and they say Customer Care department can handle this issue as they can access my account but Customer Care says they cannot do anything unless I placed an order and they tell me Sales department is the right one. Like are you kidding me? What kind of nightmare loop is this?
Can't believe I have to deal with all this nonsense. And that's considering the fact I'm about to purchase 6k+ set up. Never been so frustrated and disappointed with customer service in my life. Worst experience ever.
Why there's no such technical team that could just easily access my account and remove broken items from my cart or just reset my account to default setting or something like that? Is it that difficult?
Is there any solution at all?

I have had this issue ever since I have come back to the States from Italy. I ordered my laptop in 2020 from Italy to be delivered to my address in the states. Yet every time I have tried to order something I get stuck at the personal or business screen after checkout and have to call support to place my orders. It seems it is time to find another company to fulfill my pc needs.
