Dell Visor with no Service Tag
I have been trying to utilize the 1 year Limited hardware warranty for my Dell Visor. Unfortunately when I contact support and tell them I don't have a Service Tag or order number they get stuck and then eventually transfer me. What I do have is the PPID (Piece Part Identification) for my product and this link for monitors.
It lists how to handle situations involving monitors without service tags that have been purchased from resellers. Is there something similar that I can do for the dell visor?

Thanks I purchased a brand new box that hadn't been opened from a guy listing the device on a website known as ksl classifieds. The individual that I purchased from got the headset included in one of his other purchases.

Hi Jerthebear23,
Thanks for posting. Apologies that your VR system is not performing as expected.
If purchased directly from Dell, the Visor has a Dell order number. An agent would use the Dell order number and its serial number to support the product. If not purchased from Dell, the representative would use the same serial number policy as monitors. You can tell the agent the Dell internal reference number for the policy is: OKB - PNP13081
Here is information from the Dell knowledge base you may also find helpful:
