Honoring the Price Match Guarantee

I heard about Dell's price match guarantee and was super happy because there was finally a company who, in their own words "wants us to love new technology without worrying about price"

On the price match page, it says the following

Products Dell will match:

A new personal computer from HP or Lenovo sold on their respective U.S. websites that shares these same key specs with a Dell PC:

o    Operating system

o    Memory

o    Hard disk drive capacity

o    Graphics solution (i.e. GPU)

o    Screen Size and Resolution

o    Touch capability

o    Processor

So right now, I'm puzzled how after about 5 combined hours of charting with Dell Rep, I've been denied price match on the the new XPS 15 because its new, despite having found a competing laptop with exactly the same keys specs as the XPS 15
