Ordered in November, ETA January 8th
I purchased mine in November and received a December 18th Arrival date .... Which I thought was excessively long. They have prebuilt computers and then 'Customize Them' by only needing to slide in a different Nvidia card into the slot. ( Custom Builds are Not as 'Custom' as they make it out to be )
My 'Custom' Desktop was supposed to be shipped on December 10th..... On December 12th they emailed me saying they were 'Busy' and my order would not arrive until January 8th. That's another 3 entire weeks!
Like they didn't know this from the beginning? If I knew it was going to take this long I would have gone elsewhere but they take your money fast enough and tell you it will be shipped 'Fairly Soon' then BAM -- The Truth!
I'm now going to need to deal with it not arriving for an additional 21 days and that's if they don't 'Send' another email telling me that it's 'Delayed' even longer.
I have a small business to run and this is going to cost me money / lost revenue.... Thanks Dell ( NOT )

Simple, they provide 'Shipping Dates' that they know cannot be filled then string you/us along wasting time and send an email with a 'Gee We Bad' email with another shipping/arrival date way out. In my case another 3 full weeks later than what they promised. They certainly took my money fast enough (same day as the order back in November ) Sad way to run a major company! All of my business friends will hear about my 'Issues' with Dell that is a guarantee unless there's some magical change or compensation/upgrade for having to now wait another 3 weeks, possibly more, we'll see! Angry Customer here!

Well, at least others had some compensation offered. I had jack offered to me during this show. And another thing, they shouldn't be grabbing my payment UNTIL they actually ship it! Which is what Amazon does.

I ordered my desktop back in November with a December 18th Arrival date with seems to be MORE than enough time. It was supposed to be 'Shipped' on December 10th 2020. Yesterday, December 12th I receive an email stating that my computer is delayed and that I now have to wait until January 8th 2021 for it to arrive.
Why did they promise a 12/18 arrival date in the beginning? What is taking so long to ship a desktop?
This is going to cost my small business lost revenue. As if 2020 hasn't been bad enough with "Covid"
Dell, keep your promise and actually 'DELIVER' my desktop on 12/18/2020!
Dell, you took my money fast enough ( same day as ordered it back on November 18th )
Dell, if you can't keep your simple delivery promise and now are telling me that I will have to wait ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to receive it ( January 8th 2021 ) then compensate me in some way. Doubt THAT will happen tho!
Dell, have you heard that Small Businesses are hurting due to Covid? Your delay of my computer until January 8th 2021 is unacceptable! Do something positive and actually get it to me or compensate me in some way.

I placed an order for a laptop on March 20th; ETA is now MAY 8th! I'm thinking about canceling the $1580 order on my 9310 XPS 13 developers edition. This is crazy; glad im not alone.
